East Elite Allstars is a cheerleading team based in Peterborough. We have been running since September 2013 and our programme currently consists of over 140 athletes – both competitive and development.
We are a friendly team with a great work ethos. We believe that hard work and commitment is key and strive for each and every athlete to give their best.
Here at East Elite Allstars our mission statement is:
“Some want it to happen, East Elite make it happen”
Our aim is to coach and lead our team to success, teaching them the skills to become the best athletes they can be.
East Elite is lucky enough to operate from its own cheerleading facility which boasts a full panel sprung cheerleading floor. We also have a variety of our own training aids to ensure our athletes are working with the most updated equipment to strengthen and improve their skills.
We teach our athletes, in both our development and competitive teams, the foundations of cheerleading that they will be required to know to grow in this sport. Tumbling, stunting, jumps and dance are the 4 key elements that are essential to piece together a two and a half minute routine.
We strive to deliver the best level of coaching throughout our programme and whilst our athletes learn a lots of new skills in relation to cheerleading, we also teach valuable life lessons that the majority will use outside of the gym.

Ruth Ekblom, Centre Manager, has been running highly successful English and maths classes supporting children since 2013. We also offer 11+ preparation where appropriate. Students attend our study centre in Hampton, Peterborough, where they are provided with an individualised, structured daily study plan and materials.
We support each child’s learning path in maths, English and 11+, targeting gaps or weaknesses in knowledge. This builds children’s confidence and helps with school studies while developing independent study skills – skills that are of great benefit in today’s busy school schedules.
Our English and maths programmes are tailored to learners’ individual needs so students move on only when they are confident with a topic. At First Class Learning, we believe in 1% steps leading to 100% success.
Initially, Ruth will discuss how First Class Learning can help your child, and then arrange a complete assessment of your child’s skills set. Having established your child’s needs, a bespoke course of action is planned to support your child’s learning, enabling them to gain knowledge and skills while boosting their confidence. If you are happy that First Class Learning is right for your child, tuition can begin.
Let your child be our next success story.
