Dinosaurs in the Park 2023 – Summer Activities for Kids in Manchester and Cardiff

Stomping into Manchester’s Heaton Park and Cardiff’s Bute Park this summer, Dinosaurs in the Park features 40 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs and is sure to delight dino fans of all ages.

Transforming the Parks into a palaeontologist’s playground from July 20th to August 6th in Manchester and then 17th August to September 3rd in Cardiff. Dinosaurs in the Park offers an educational and enjoyable day out for the whole family. Visitors can wind their way along the Dinosaur Trail, solve puzzles, and carry out some Jurassic dentistry by brushing the teeth of the resident T-Rex.

With dinosaurs round every corner, the parks will be filled with classic favourites such as the Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Velociraptor, as well as the lesser-known Dilophosaurus, Kentrosaurus and Hypacrosaurus. Plus, on selected dates, there will be a guest appearance from a real-life paleontologist! Dr Dean Lomax who can answer your Dino questions and help you identify your fossils.

After the trail there is a fun zone with hands-on activities for all included in the ticket price.

Dino excavation digs, mini golf, dino kingdom bouncy castle, mini soft play for under 3’s, Designasaurus studio where you can design your own dinosaur and watch it come to life on the screen. Videosaurus and a visit to the Palaeontologist tent to discover fossils, dinosaur dung and interesting facts. As an optional extra there are also children’s fun fair rides which cost per ride.

After a successful debut this year in Plymouth, Dinosaurs in the Park are on their way to Manchester and then Cardiff for the summer holidays 2023. Welcome to the International British Theatre School! – Across the UK

Our programmes are designed to help young performers & foreign speakers of English to build confidence and improve their public speaking skills through the magic of theatre.

Throughout the week, the children will participate in acting workshops, rehearsals, and performances, learning to express themselves creatively and with style.

They’ll work with experienced instructors and mentors working in the acting industry to develop their craft and push beyond their comfort zones as they prepare a 20 minute show for parents at the end of each week with lights, sounds, songs and dances!

In addition to all the exciting theatre-related activities, campers can also look forward to cool-down water fights in summer, sports, arts and crafts and group games during the week.

In addition to honing their acting skills, the children will also have the opportunity to learn about stagecraft, costume & set design, and other technical aspects of theatre production such as lighting and sound.

By the end of the week, the students will have gained valuable experience and a newfound sense of self-assurance that they can take with them, both on and off the stage.

Parents can choose to watch the show in person, or catch up via the online recording of the show which is sent the following day.
