My name is Andi, and I’m the co-founder of Style Station Workshops. I am a freelance Fashion Stylist, with a Degree in Special Effects Design. I am also a Mother to three children.
Style Station was born three years ago when I, and my dear friend Designer Eleanor, decided to build on our styling workshops and offer our creative expertise to young people. We have been Designers and Stylists for over 10 years and thought it was time to present young people the opportunity to explore their creative side.
We have been teaching in After School Clubs at Thomas’ and Knightsbridge Prep Schools successfully for over three years now, and each term we are delighted and overwhelmed to see so many children repeatedly sign up to our Fashion & Textile Club.
As our club was growing in demand, we found parents asking if we ran it on any other days. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to launch Style Station on a Saturday, so everyone is able to join us under one roof.
Style Station run weekend and holiday workshops with exciting new projects each half term. We encourage all children to try new techniques, build confidence and develop new skills in a friendly and nurturing environment. Activities include fabric painting, drawing, designing, appliqué techniques, sewing and printing. Style Station offers children a skill to learn, explore and be creative, but most importantly, to inspire young minds!
