Our Visit to Zippos Circus 2019

Zippos Circus 2019 show celebrates 21 years since The World’s Greatest Ringmaster Norman Barrett first appeared at Britain’s Favourite Circus.

The thrilling Lucius Team of five Brazilian motorcyclists in the famous Globe of Death will take centre spot.  Astonishing acrobats and aerialists, amazing contortionists, clever comics and daredevil motorcyclists come together for this year’s magnificent production.

And back by popular demand is Paulo Dos Santos– a brilliant 3 foot 6 inches (107 cm) tall showman, acrobat and martial artist. They will be joined by a colourful troupe of artists from all around the world including foot jugglers, Kenyan tumblers, Cuban Springboard acrobats, knife throwers, contortionists and dancers.

We visited Zippos Circus with our two small daughters. The event was very well organised, staff were friendly and helpful. The show was fantastic from start to finish. My girls were amazed by some of the acts. Lots of variety for all ages and my eldest daughter loved meeting the performers.

What are the seating options within the circus tent?

Have a look at our latest seating plan to see the different areas of the circus tent and the ticket prices.

Can I choose a seat number? Is there allocated seating?

We do not have allocated seating. You simply book for a seating area of the circus tent (see the latest seating plan) and then when you arrive, our ushers will take you to your seats.

When should I arrive?

Due to the extra time needed to seat everyone socially distanced, we are opening the doors 45 minutes before showtime. Please queue outside with your whole group so you can be seated together.

Do I need to print my tickets?

Thank you for booking in advance. You do not need to print your tickets but can if you choose to. As long as we can see the QR code on the ticket, it is absolutely fine to show your tickets on your smartphone at the big top entrance when you arrive.

Can I pay by card?

At the Ticket Office, you can pay by contactless debit card payment. We would also prefer contactless debit card payments at the cafe, if possible.

Where is the circus currently performing?

Do you have any discounts?

Zippos Circus has always been generous so yes, we do offer some discount codes. Have a look at the Zippos Circus Facebook Page under Offers and Events to see what’s available right now.

Also, if we are in your town and you see a shop displaying our poster, please do go inside as they have discount flyers to give out. You can take these to the on-site Ticket Office or use the code to book online at zippos.seetickets.com.

Why can’t I use a discount code for the first night?

We want everyone to be able to afford a trip to the circus so we regularly offer a First Night Preview with heavily discounted tickets. With tickets for all usually under £10 it does mean we can’t offer further discounts.

What’s the First Night Preview?

We call the first show in a new location the First Night Preview. It is the same full-length show but we usually offer really cheap tickets. It’s always best to book in advance as this night usually sells out before the day.

How long is the show?

Allow two hours as the show is around 1 hour 50 minutes. We do include a 15-20 minute interval. So if you come to the 3 pm show, you should be out by 5 pm.

I’m disabled. Do you offer a carer ticket?

If you are disabled and in a wheelchair, you can book a ‘Wheelchair User’ ticket online and it includes a ticket for an assistant. Simply choose the show you would like to attend at zippos.seetickets.com.

If you are disabled and require a carer to be with you but are not in a wheelchair, please buy your ticket online and then email the Box Office Manager at [email protected] who can arrange the extra ticket free of charge.
