Medley Swim School

Medley Swim School is a new swim school that runs in Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School in Beddau, South Wales.

We are affiliated with Swim Wales and run the Learn to Swim Wales programme. With over 12 years experience of teaching swimming, Rhiannon decided it was time to set up her own swim school.

With a vast knowledge of swimming, coming from a competitive swimming background, Rhiannon strives to deliver the most fun and enjoyable swimming experience for all children. Medley Swim School prides ourselves in teaching all ages and abilities to swim in a positive, safe and fun environment.

We recognise that each child is an individual with different needs and develop in different ways, which is why we keep our classes small with a ratio of 1 teacher to 8 children. We also have helpers in the pool to help with the beginner classes.

All classes are small, to ensure that children are kept moving throughout the lesson.

Classes available include:

• Parent & baby classes
• Weekly group lessons from 3 years of age upwards
• Adult lessons
• 1 to 1 lessons

Medley Swim School also provide intensive crash courses in all school holidays, with underwater pictures being taken throughout each course, for you to download off our Facebook page.

We gain permission from parents before doing so. We are able to email these to you, if you would not like them to be published on social media.

These courses are a great boost to the children’s weekly lessons as they help build the children’s confidence and work on key skills.

All lessons are fun and enjoyable in a safe, positive environment, taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers who have an enhanced DBS check.
