Little Festival is especially for babies, toddlers and children up to the age of 8!

The fabulous Little Learners North East team have come together to create one almighty Early Years fun day for all the family. They have invited a huge variety of preschool companies and businesses to bring you the mother of all events on Sunday 23rd July in Gateshead.

Throughout the day there will be entertainment courtesy of Radio Nova and Dance Fuse along with balloon modelling, mascots and free face painting too! Parents and children can experience a world of preschool classes through free taster sessions from the likes of Water Babies, Little Kickers, Creation Station, The Baby Hub, Tiny Tasters & more!

They can also indulge in sweet treats and gastro delights, explore the fantastic array of children’s products and burn off excess energy on the wide range of inflatables and fair ground rides. Of course a Little Festival would not be complete without a massive Little Learners Messy Play and Mark Making area for all your Little Mark Makers to explore and get messy!

Last year’s festival was a HUGE success with outstanding feedback and over 600 parents and little ones attending!! This year we have sold out again and with the help of our fantastic sponsor Club Hub and media partner Raring 2 Go it’s going to be BIGGER and BETTER! We just can’t wait! So what is Little Learners all about?

Little Learners is a multi award-winning messy play and mark making class devised by a qualified teacher. It is designed for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to learn to write through play. We run classes, parties and special events across the UK.

Our fun & engaging sessions develop your child’s pre-writing motor skills, as well their physical and social development in relation to the EYFS guidance. Time spent at Little Learners will prepare your child for nursery and reception. We follow a unique writing program where we explore a different mark each week. Every mark helps us to form our letters, numbers, shapes & patterns. Each session includes messy play, paint, play dough, sand, scribbling, movement and dance – all in a safe and fun environment.
