Kings Norton Rhinos – Hopwood, Birmingham

Kings Norton Rhinos is the junior section of Kings Norton RFC, a friendly club based on Ash Lane in Hopwood, close to junction 2 of the M42. Our attractive ground has recently been expanded with the purchase of a new field dedicated especially for our younger junior players. As a result we are able to have specially allocated pitches for all our age groups, a much more enjoyable experience than a small corner of a full size pitch.

We have girls and boys teams from under 6 to under 18, with younger ages training and playing on Sundays and older ages having additional training sessions mid-week. Our boys and mixed teams play tag rugby up to under 8 and contact rugby from under 9. Girls have a choice of playing tag or contact rugby. Our girls tag team are current West Midlands champions, remaining unbeaten all season.

As well as a regular fixtures schedule we participate in festivals and events at Worcester Warriors rugby club. This season the girls had a trip to watch the England Women v USA and our age group teams have regularly been to Worcester matches, playing a festival in the morning before watching the game.

We have RFU trained and DBS checked coaches for all our age groups.

Our season runs from the start of September to the end of April. If your daughter or son would like to give rugby a go, please get in touch with us. It is come and try it for the first month, no need to join.

LittleLions-Rugby Club – Leeds

LittleLions-Rugby is a fun play programme based on the FUNdamental’s of physical literacy.

In simple terms it is non-contact sports skills for girls and boys aged 2.5 – 7 years old.

The emphasis is about fun and respect in an enjoyable and safe environment; gently encouraging children to exercise and live a healthier life.

The programme encompasses rugby specific skills such as running with the ball, kicking, and catching, finding space and scoring a try, developing basic core motor and social skills within a team environment.

Little Scrummers Rugby – Essex

Little Scrummers Rugby, is an activity based rugby skills children’s club that focusses on fun physical activity for girls and boys aged 18 months – 7 years. Where children can learn and
develop through interactive play.
