High Beech Riding School is a family run Riding School set in the heart of Epping Forest.
Established in 1970 for the sole purpose of offering Riding lessons and Forest hacking for all abilities to children and adults alike. In the 52 years we have been running a lot has changed but our main purpose remains.
As well as riding lessons, we offer children aged 6yrs and over holiday activities such as Own A Pony Mornings, Day Camps, Ice Cream Rides, Jumping Courses, Riding Competitions and various Forest hacks for those with experience.
For younger children aged 4yrs upwards we can offer led pony rides to help introduce the young enthusiasts at a steady pace. Pony rides help children gain balance and confidence in preparation for lessons and are a fantastic way to get started.
We are passionate about children learning more than just riding. We encourage them to attend our Holiday sessions so they can learn about caring for their ponies, with a view to taking on a fabulous hobby that lasts a lifetime! For older children ABRS (Association of British Riding School) train and test days which offer a recognised certificate in stable management and riding are available.
