LullaBaby Step 2 is a weekly themed baby class which is linked to the EYFS (the curriculum for birth to 5 year olds). It is carefully designed to stimulate, delight and promote your baby’s development. Every week is different as you and your baby will go down in the jungle, explore the secret garden, zoom into outer space, enjoy all the fun of the circus and so much more, as you bond and make precious memories together.
What does the class involve?
We provide activities and ideas which offer a unique mixture of stimulation and relaxation, including:
Baby Sensory & Exploratory Play – with a balance of adult led and child initiated activities based around a different theme each week, meaning no two weeks are the same.
Baby Yoga – To relax and strengthen your baby, supporting their physical development.
Music and Rhymes – To develop early language and speech skills. We also have LIVE MUSIC in some sessions.
Baby Signing – based on the Makaton signing system to help you and your baby communicate from birth. We sign each week to our original and unique “Hello Everyone” and “Wave Goodbye” songs. WE also use signs linked to our weekly themes and for familiar songs and rhymes.
Relaxation time – to help your baby unwind and take in all that they have learnt. Towards the end of each session we use calming baby sensory lighting and sounds, promoting periods of deeper sleep and helping baby feel secure, attached and bonded to the caregiver.
Everything we do is supported by years of research, information and guidance. This allows you to enjoy this special and important time in your baby’s development, knowing that you’re giving them the best start.
What do our customers say?
We started going here 6 weeks ago, my little one has come on leaps and bounds. She’s loved her time with Becky who is delightful and has a fantastic singing voice which just adds to the class. The activities and sensory stations are beautifully set up and themed. You can tell that a lot of care and attention goes into making each week as immersive as possible. Since joining my daughter has started walking, I believe seeing the other children up and about has encouraged her to progress. We are leaving because our schedule doesn’t allow time for this class anymore but I would recommend this sensory class to all who care and want their babies to socialise and have some sensory fun. I was new to the area and felt absolutely welcomed attending.
I was very nervous about attending a group alone but once I arrived I felt very welcomed and everybody was very friendly and inclusive. My little girl (and myself) made friends easily and it was lovely to see them all grow and experience new things together. The sessions are different each week which is lovely as the children don’t get bored and there is always new things for them to explore and play with. I would definitely, highly recommend this group for so many different reasons .
Thursday’s at lullababy have become a real highlight of our week. My little boy engages really well and really enjoys the activities, especially the calm down and lights at the end of every class. It’s a lovely bonding opportunity for us and we’ve made lots of new friends at the same time. Thank you Becky x
Highly recommend Lullababy! Becky is just fantastic and it’s been amazing seeing my little boy develop over the time he’s been going to his classes!
