Get up and dance with the PJ Masks! This October, little ones across the country will be able to don their dancing shoes, masks and capes to join in with the superhero party of the year. Available at more than 600 diddi dance classes nationwide, toddlers will be encouraged to dress up with the help of Catboy, Gekko and Owlette, the superhero trio from Entertainment One’s (eOne) popular kids’ TV show PJ Masks, to dance in style and raise funds for Youth Sport Trust.
Jam- packed with brand new moves and superhero themed dances, the ‘PJ Masks Super Dance Party’ classes are set to involve more than 6,000 little dancers over the week. Not only will every little one that takes part love their new found super powers, they will also receive a PJ Masks activity pack inlcuding a character mask to complete their look!
The exciting partnership between diddi dance, the team behind the popular pre-school dance classes and eOne, the creators of PJ Masks, will help raise valuable funds for the Youth Sports Trust, the national charity passionate about creating a brighter future for all young people by giving every child the best sporting start in life.
Founded by professional dancer, Anne-Marie Martin, diddi dance offers a unique, innovative and fun way to get toddlers on their feet. Welcoming all little ones from 16 months up to five years and using Anne-Marie’s own original music and choreography, diddi dance covers a variety of dance styles from hip hop to salsa through to ballroom and rock and roll. This national partnership with PJ Masks is a perfect fit for award-winning diddi dance as both brands share a clear passion for empowering young minds and encouraging little ones to get active.
Talking about the PJ Masks takeover this Autumn, Anne-Marie Martin said: “We cannot wait for the sea of red, blue and green superheros to be unveiled this October. Working with eOne, the team behind PJ Masks, has been such fun and we are excited to share the news with all our diddi dancers. We’re sure it’s going to be a big hit and raise lots of money for the fantastic Youth Sports Trust – let’s face it, who doesn’t love dressing up as a superhero for the day!”
Speaking on behalf of Catboy, Owlette and Gekko who are busily getting ready, Rebecca Harvey Head of Global Marketing at Entertainment One Family said: “Music and movement are core to PJ Masks so partnering with diddi dance is a great opportunity for the fans to get up, get active and replicate the recognisable moves of their favourite characters from the show, whilst raising funds for an extremely worthwhile cause.”
