On Friday the 23rd of February Tessa and her colleague Sam had the most fantastic time in Birmingham with Theo Paphitis collecting the Club Hub UK’s #SBS Award.
Tessa tweeted Theo about Club Hub UK during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers. The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 2000 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.
Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website and Shop #SBS will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Club Hub UK every success.”
At the event Tessa was able to meet the amazing sponsors of the events who were all very impressed with the amount of growth Club Hub UK had made in a year and a half. She was also able to listen to speakers who had were incredibly inspiring and filled Tessa with lots of ideas on how to keep taking her business to the next level.
Tessa was able to stay till the end of the event and actually spoke to Theo himself about Club Hub UK. He was so lovely and was really impressed that Tessa was a double winner as she had also won with her musical theatre kids club “Tessa’s Jazz Hands” too!
Tessa would like to thank her team and every person that has supported her so far. She has so many exciting developments happening from this event that she can’t wait to follow them all up and continue growing Club Hub UK.
