Individuality Swimming offers children’s swimming lessons across Poole, Bournemouth and Ferndown, with options to suit a wide range of ages, abilities and confidence levels. Our lessons are designed to help children develop strong water safety skills, build confidence and make steady progress in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Our Small Group Swimming Lessons have no more than five children per class, allowing each swimmer to receive the attention they need while still enjoying the social benefits of learning alongside others. Children are grouped by ability, so they swim with others at a similar stage. Lesson content is structured around recognised swimming awards, helping each child progress clearly from one stage to the next as their skills improve.

We also offer one-to-one and two-to-one swimming lessons for children who would benefit from a more personalised approach. One-to-one lessons are tailored exactly to your child’s needs, with the instructor’s full attention throughout. This is ideal for children who need extra confidence, have a fear of water, require closer support, or simply benefit from a quieter, more focused lesson environment.

Our two-to-one lessons are a great option for siblings, friends or family members of a similar swimming ability. These lessons still offer a tailored approach while allowing children to learn together.
