The Strings Club Holiday Camps Start Summer on a High Note!

Published on 7th June 2023 by Tessa Robinson

The Strings Club today announces their latest unique Strings Club Holiday Camps for the Summer holidays, as well as several new locations as they expand due to demand for their award-winning childcare programmes.

This independent business, that uses music as a force for good, is run by a former teacher, professional violinist and mum who is well versed in what makes an enriching Holiday Camp and how music can transform a child.

Known as the ‘disruptors’ of the school holiday childcare market, The Strings Club are proud to offer day camp experiences for children that no one else does. They maintain a 1:8 ratio of practitioners to children aged 4-11 which is outstanding considering many Holiday Camps now only have 1 adult overseeing 20 children aged 8 and older!

The Strings Club offers children quality childcare with an understanding of how music positively affects wellness and child development. Musical instrument rental is included in the programme, allowing children to take their instrument home with them throughout the week.

Staff are musically experienced, highly vetted and have regular communication with parents offering insights into each day. The Holiday Camps offer a varied, stimulating environment for children that provides a balance of structure and freedom to initiate play. The grand finale is an end of camp concert for families to attend.

Brand new Strings Club Holiday Camps for children aged 8-11s are launching in Dulwich, Greenwich, Islington and Harborne. To celebrate this 8-11s launch, new customers can receive one free day of childcare at any of the new locations!

Amy Cunningham, founder and managing director of The Strings Club says:

“Everything we do is of the highest quality. From everyone we hire, who usually have at least 5 years’ experience working in childcare, to the venues we hire to the info parents receive beforehand to the free hire of an instrument for children to the Online Gallery that parents receive every evening. We want parents to avoid any guilt and know their child will be having a great time with us. We want children to feel at home with us and have truly memorable experiences.”

Parents of children who’ve attend The Strings Club frequently offer positive feedback and sign their children up to return for future camps:

“We enrolled our 4yr old into the holiday club over Easter break. We were impressed with the way they were able to settle him in on the first day. He came home each day with a smile and stories about how much he had accomplished. We will be booking him in again. Thank you for all the pictures you took. These will be included into his scrapbook.”

“Great communication, photos each day, lovely team and a range of activities on offer- our son particularly liked the fact that he could take the violin home. It’s definitely given him a positive music lessons taster, would definitely book again.”
