Doors will open at 9.45am, the first session is at 10.30. Tea, coffee and pastries on arrival. A free cloakroom is available. The event will finish at approximately 5pm and close by 6pm.

Having spent 33 years working within the early years sector, Amanda was invited by the children’s activity association to become the Children’s First Champion in parliament, encouraging policy-makers to put children first at the heart of all decision-making. 

Her global animation TV series featuring Coach Amanda and the ACTIMATES is going to take the world by storm in 2024 and this Wonder Woman is certainly one to watch.

A chance to sit down and talk with people from around the Childrens Activity sector to hear about their journeys and experience. What have they learned and how has that helped them improve what they do? What has changed over the course of their time in the sector and what do they see coming up in the future, and much more. These conversations are a great way to hear from people closely connected to the sector, take in a varied set of experiences and for our audience to ask questions of our guests.

Cerys Keneally – 3 Ways To Earn A More Reliable Income By Working With Schools Or Nurseries

Find out how children’s activity providers are adding a more predictable, profitable income stream to their businesses in 2024 by partnering with schools or nurseries.  You can even make your out-of-school classes more profitable (without being a slave to social media) by following these strategies!

Vicky Hayton Nurturing Inclusivity – A guide to supporting SEN children in your classes.

This workshop will provide a basic overview of SEN and will explain some of the jargon surrounding SEN. Built on best practice and experience, we will look at advice about how to support the ever increasing number of SEN children within your classes, as well as providing practical strategies which can be used effectively.

Vicky Hayton has had the pleasure of working with SEN children for almost a decade. She is full time SENCo at a large independent primary school in Cheshire and Regional Director of Fun Fest Franchising.

About the Club Hub Event 2024

 

Location

Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Burlington Arcade, 126 New Street, Birmingham B2 4JQ.

Rail – The hotel is opposite Birmingham New Street Station. Birmingham Moor Street and Snow Hill stations are both less than a 10 minute walk away.

Road – the hotel is 3 miles from M6 J6 (A38(M)). Recommended parking is at Grand Central Car Park B5 4DQ (next to the hotel – 30 second walk from door to door). Promotional code PKBUR23  for £9.50 per 24 hours.

Our venue, the Macdonald Burlington Hotel is a beautiful 4 star hotel, located opposite New Street Station. The delegate room rate for Friday 10th and/or Saturday 11th May is:

  • 20 x Bedrooms on an allocation basis for 10th and 11th May 2024
  • £194.00 Bed and Breakfast Rate per room per night based on single occupancy
  • £209.00 Bed and Breakfast Rate per room per night based on double occupancy
