Hi5’s Newport

Activity Description

Tops Newport offers a Hi5’s Holiday Club service for school children up to 7 years old at our nursery setting. Our nursery has received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted and was named Nursery of the Year South 2019 by the NDNA. Located on the Isle of Wight College site, our setting is ideal for convenient pickups and drop-offs. We take full advantage of the beautiful surrounding habitats, allowing children to learn about nature through direct interaction. Activities like den building, safe risk-taking, and exploration are integral to our program and contribute to the children’s learning journeys.

Children at Hi5’s can participate in various activities, including Tops Forest School, arts and crafts, cooking, music and movement, science, woodwork, sports, and team games. Upon enrollment, each child receives a free backpack and can earn badges for completing activities such as “I am an artist,” “I am a filmmaker,” and “I can sew.” Our activity plans change with the seasons and are adapted to reflect the children’s interests and learning goals.
