Acting up on Stage Holiday Club

Activity Description

‘acting up on stage’ is our series of theatre summer camps at The RYTC.

All summer camps end with a final performance for family and friends. They are jam packed with fun while also teaching kids how to:

• Work as a team
• Concentrate, communicate and cooperate
• Memorise lines and block scenes
• Develop a character
• Make team decisions (shall we sing, dance, stage fight, act with masks…)
• Improve audition skills
• Take creative risks
• Make a mistake, laugh, and try again

And theatre builds confidence and self-esteem. All creative subjects include The Arts Award so students will achieve a qualification and receive a certificate.
