Sounds Sublime Festival 2026: Children’s Choir Workshop

Activity Description

A choral extravaganza featuring performances from some of the most exciting young choirs led by Conductor Matthew Quinn.
Come and be wowed as primary school children from across the south east join together in a celebration of song. Featuring individual performances from choirs including London Youth Choir Boys, Finchley Children’s Music Group, Canterbury Youth Choir, Wivenhoe Youth Choir and Blackheath Halls Junior Choir.

This collection of tomorrow’s voices will culminate in a massed performance of a newly-commissioned piece Let me Walk in Peace by Will Todd.

This workshop is part of Sounds Sublime Choral Festival, a special annual event curated by The Sixteen, showcasing the passion, joy and diversity of the human voice. The festival celebrates the journey of young voices, from under 5’s and their very first experiences of singing, to the extraordinary talent and passion of our current Genesis Sixteen choir.
