Activity Description
Theatretrain Advanced offers musical theatre classes in Maldon for young people aged 12–18 who want to develop their acting, singing and dancing skills further.
This focused 90-minute Saturday class gives teenagers the opportunity to explore musical theatre in greater depth. Students work on performance technique, characterisation, vocal delivery, choreography and combining the three disciplines of acting, singing and dancing.
Our musical theatre classes in Maldon are suitable for enthusiastic young performers who want an additional challenge, develop greater confidence and strengthen their stagecraft. Students work collaboratively on musical theatre material while learning how to communicate characters, tell stories and perform with confidence.
Theatretrain has been running in Maldon for 20 years and is proud to be a CDMT Recognised School. Classes are taught by qualified and experienced performing arts teachers in an encouraging environment where students can challenge themselves, develop their individual abilities and enjoy working with other young performers.
Advanced Musical Theatre runs on Saturdays from 1.30pm–3pm at All Saints’ Primary School in Maldon. Fees are £34.20 per month, paid by Direct Debit over 12 months.
