Activity Description

Theatretrain Main School offers performing arts classes in Maldon for children and teenagers aged 6–18. Every Saturday, students enjoy three separate one-hour lessons in acting, singing and dancing, taught by qualified, experienced and long-standing teachers.

During acting, students explore scripts, characters, improvisation and creative theatre skills. Singing classes develop vocal technique, musicality and confidence, while dance lessons introduce choreography and movement across a variety of musical theatre styles.

Our performing arts classes in Maldon help young people develop confidence, communication, creativity, teamwork and self-belief. Students are placed in age-appropriate groups, allowing each child to be supported and challenged at the right level.

Theatretrain has been running in Maldon for 20 years and is proud to be a CDMT Recognised School. Students also receive exciting opportunities to perform in professional theatres, attend West End masterclasses and work towards musical theatre examinations.

Main School runs on Saturdays from 10am–1pm at All Saints’ Primary School in Maldon. Fees are £68.33 per month, paid by Direct Debit over 12 months.
