Published on 10th February 2023 by Tessa Robinson

86% of UK children under 5 do NOT get five a day*. Join Tumble Tots for Healthy Heroes Week to learn about the importance of physical activity and a blanced diet for children.

Healthy Heroes Week 2023 with Tumble Tots UK

Every year Tumble Tots celebrates ‘Healthy Heroes Week’ to help promote the importance of physical exercise in children.

But this year, we are also highlighting the importance of eating 5 different fruits and vegetables every day, as well as being physically active, as part of an overall healthy lifestyle.

Fruits and vegetables are a good source of vitamins, minerals, fibre, and other nutrients which children need help them grow physically and develop cognitively.

They are also usually low in fat and calories which is why eating them can help maintain a healthy weight. Almost all fruit and vegetables count towards your 5 A Day, so it may be easier than you think to get your recommended daily amount.**

Little ones can take part in ‘Healthy Heroes Week’ in Tumble Tots classes OR from home by downloading our activity pack from: https://bit.ly/tthhw2023

The pack contains useful information about getting 5 A Day, an exclusive compeition to take part in and a wall chart to help record little one’s progress as well as encourage them to keep eating fruit and vegetables throughout the year!

In classes, littles ones are invited to dress up as a super hero and are provided with a mask template to decorate themselves. To join in the fun near you from 6th March 2023 in centres across the UK***, book online at www.tumbletots.com.

***Participating venues and dates may vary across the country so please check with your local franchisee.
