There are different levels of Functional Skills for Math and it’s important to understand what they mean. Functional Skills Level 1 Functional Skills Level 2 Functional Skills Entry Level 3 The comparable GCSE grade for each level of Functional Skills: Functional Skills Level : Comparable GCSE Grade Entry Level 3 : Below GCSE level Level 1 : 3 – 1 Level 2 : 9 – 4 Functional Skills are practical, real-life maths skills that your students will apply in their working and personal lives.
