During the October half term, we have plenty of frightfully fun activities, as well as sailing courses for those looking to further their skills.
Our frightfully fun Spooky Halloween Adventure Days are full of our wide range of scarily fun activities.
This may include; Pumpkin Carving, Pirate Canoeing, Creepy Climbing, Pumpkin Archery, Scary Cycling Skills, Spider Orienteering and Camp Craft with Shrunken Heads and Spooky Shelter Building.
As a treat, all pumpkins are provided by us, with no hidden tricks.
Our adventure days will be running throughout the week from October 23rd – 27th.

The Barn At Berryfields – Coventry
Our pumpkin, skating and streetfood indoor Halloween event is back! Halloween At The Barn returns, so get ready to go pumpkin picking in our giant homegrown pumpkin patch featuring your classic, novelty and giant pumpkins. Enjoy our Eco-skating rink, surrounded by twinkling lights and spooky faces. Finish off with our epic award-winning streetfood, including breakfast baps, stone-baked pizzas, burgers and loaded chips perfectly paired with a cocktail, draught beer or soft & hot drinks from our fully stocked bar!
This year we are offering later sessions during the week, as well as full days during weekends and half term!
Eco-Skating is our synthetic skating rink, which uses the latest technology to look and feel a lot like ice, without any water or energy usage and with zero CO2 emissions. Its unique surface is self-lubricating, providing fantastic glidability and a softer surface should you fall over!

Introducing The Guardians of the Grounds – a haunted Halloween quest, where young adventurers become spell seekers on a thrilling interactive journey through the mystical Leeds Castle estate.
As children embark on their adventure, they will be armed with a special quest sheet, guiding them through the sprawling grounds of the castle. Their mission? To collect the missing pieces of a powerful spell that will unlock the secrets of Leeds Castle and help break the curse that shadows the estate.
But fear not, for this journey is full of surprises and friendly characters eager to assist in their quest. Throughout their adventure, children will encounter seven magical beings, each with their own rhyming tales and wisdom to share.
As children interact with these remarkable characters, they will gather essential information, uncover hidden clues, and solve riddles. Once they have collected all the missing pieces of the spell, they will gather with the Guardians of the Grounds at the Halloween Ball to help Ember the Autumnal Witch break the enchantment once and for all!

Lower Drayton Farm – P-p-p-pick up a pumpkin (and more) at Staffordshire’s BIGGEST PYO Pumpkins patch!
Get spooky season off to a great start this year with a visit to Lower Drayton Farm’s HUGE 20-acre pumpkin patch! Located just 1 mile from J13 of the M6 it’s a great way for the family to spend an autumnal day in the great outdoors; making memories and snapping selfies.
You can hop on a tractor-trailer ride to the patch, grab a wheelbarrow and trundle it around till you find your perfect pumpkin (and with 150,000 seeds planted there’s plenty of choice!) before heading back to the new indoor carving barn to craft your scary works of art – or choose a pumpkin from our undercover pumpkin village. There’s plenty of other fun things to do – meeting friendly animals, playing pumpkin games, getting great photos in the ‘scary’ photo booths and (if you’re brave enough) taking on the spooky walk! You’ll also have chance to pick carrots, sweetcorn & potatoes to take home and cook (subject to availability) and a pop-up pumpkin café will offer delicious refreshments – including hot pumpkin soup!

Magical Crafting Club Halloween Events – Glasgow
Unleash the magic of Halloween with our spooktacular Kids Halloween Craft Events!
From Tues to Fri, October 17th to 20th, 10am to 2pm, we invite your little gouls to the Kids Halloween Craft Club – a drop-off extravaganza! They’ll embark on a creative journey, crafting different magical spooky decorations each day, music for a boogie in their Halloween outfits while having fun making new friends.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! On Saturday, October 28th ,dress up and join us for the Family Halloween Craft & Disco from 10am to 12pm. Tickets include refreshments and Halloween crafting and fun.
For those who crave more Halloween thrills, we’ve got you covered with the Kids Halloween Crafts and Disco from 2pm to 4pm on the same day, with a small treat bag included. Get the kids dressed up and drop them off!!
Expect a Halloween hunt, a thrilling game of Halloween bingo with prizes, and a cauldron full of creativity!

Paradise Wildlife Park – Dinos After Dark Returns – Hertfordshire
Paradise Wildlife Park is excited to announce the exciting return of Dinos After Dark! After the sell-out event last year, where tickets went stomping out the door, the park is thrilled to announce the return of the dino-tastic event.
Get ready to take an adventure through time at the World of Dinosaurs, visiting the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods in moonlight, with over 40 life-size, moving, and roaring dinosaurs, if you are feeling brave enough!
The fun doesn’t stop there either, with various night-time entertainment including Safari Stage shows, The Rex Express for a roarsome ride around our Wolves and Dinosaurs, as well as some meet and greets from the prehistoric era! Dinos After Dark is an exclusive ticketed after-hours event running on limited select dates in the October half term. From the 20th to the 29th. SEA Life Ascarium: Tricks & Treats – Halloween Activities for Kids 2023 Across the UK
Get ready to dive into some spooky fun as SEA LIFE centres across the UK and Ireland go from aquarium to ascarium this Halloween!
Guests are invited to explore all the chills and thrills of the ocean as they follow an immersive trail to help SEA LIFE’s Witches and Warlocks look after their ocean home and fellow sea creatures by completing magical challenges throughout the aquarium.
Not only will there be an excitingly eerie trail for visitors to enjoy, but guests will also be able to meet our Sea Witch or Warlock, tackle visual games and activities and receive a reward for completing the spook-splash-tic challenges.

York Archaeology DIG After Dark – York
Huddle around the campfire and listen to ghost stories this half term at DIG after Dark. DIG is housed in St Saviour’s Church which has stood on site since the 11th century and became a popular place to worship, before falling into decline at the turn of the 20th century.
Come along to these interactive and immersive storytelling sessions to hear the tragic tales of the ghost of a Viking warrior and even the ghost hunter who yearned to witness him! Plus, you can discover more about folklore, ghost stories and the history of St Saviour’s Church. Kids can have fun cosying around the campfire with snacks and a hot drink, all included in the price.
DIG After Dark: Ghosts in the Graveyard takes place on 29th October (tickets for the 28th are sold out) at DIG: An Archaeological Adventure.
There will be two sessions 5.30-6.30pm and 7.30-8.30pm.
