Learn to play in these friendly group classes, which cover technique, music-reading and performance skills.
Children will develop confident and secure violin technique, learn how to read and interpret music notation, perform a variety of music as a soloist and as part of the group, and also compose and improvise their own music.
Short weekly practice tasks are set, so children start to build a regular practice routine from the outset, helping them to make enjoyable progress and preparing them for the regular practice needed to master an instrument.
To take part in this course, students will need an instrument and will need to set aside 10-15 mins each day for practice.
For Violin Starters, we will advise what size to get in the first lesson so please wait and order an instrument after that!
