Mini Mansions

Activity Description

Sessions are at 10 – 10.45 am and 11.15 am – 12 noon on both Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th November.

Join our interactive sessions for children aged 2½ – 4 and their parents, grandparents and carers. Explore the collections and galleries together through play, stories, craft and science activities designed to encourage development, communication and curiosity about the world around us. The theme for November is ‘Towns and Houses’.

Parents/carers must stay with their children throughout the session.

The main session will be on the ground floor, with pushchair access to the Lower Tudor Room. Part of the session may involve exploring the Mansion using the stairs. Please let us know if you have any access requirements when you book, as there is no lift. For useful information, such as how to find us and what facilities the Mansion has, we recommend reading our Access information.

Mini Mansion sessions are designed for pre-school children and their carers – they are unsuitable for larger nursery groups.

Tickets cost £3 per child (accompanying adults free). Please contact Christchurch Mansion in advance if you intend to bring more than 2 children to any session. You can talk to a team member by calling 01473 433554 between 10 am – 4.30 pm.
