🌍 Online Small Group Social Skills Sessions for Sutton.Social Understanding • Social Skills • Social Learning *TRY YOUR FIRST SESSION FOR £10* Not sure if the programme is the right fit for your child? Book your child’s first session for just £10 to experience the programme before committing to the full programme.
Interactive small-group sessions are designed for children who do not naturally pick up social expectations and may find social interaction confusing, difficult to interpret, or overwhelming at times.
We help children develop social understanding and social skills by exploring social situations, social expectations, and the meaning behind everyday interactions. Through discussion, activities, and guided reflection, children learn to better understand themselves and others, build friendships, develop independence, and make thoughtful choices in everyday situations.
Current Groups:
✔ Secondary School Transition (Ages 10–12)
Children will learn:
• What to expect from secondary school
• Managing change and uncertainty
• Friendships and social confidence
• Organisation and independence
• Making thoughtful choices
✔ Why Do I Feel Like This? (Ages 8–10)
Children will learn:
• Understanding feelings
• Emotional awareness
• Recognising emotions in others
• Managing big feelings
• Building confidence
• Making positive choices
Small group sessions are our primary service. A limited number of one-to-one sessions are also available for children who may benefit from more individual support. All social mentors working directly with children hold enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training.
