Happy Baby Yoga (Brough)

Activity Description

More than just a baby class. Inclusive, relaxed parent & baby classes, covering the Hull & East Riding. Learn lifelong practices to settle and comfort baby, support development and also improve wellbeing and promote relaxation for both parent and child.

Baby yoga classes held at the Brough Community Centre, Brough, HU15 1DF. Baby Yoga is based on Hatha Yoga, classes are slow paced and gentle, a great introduction into basic yoga poses, developing a balance of both strength and flexibility. The ideal follow on baby class from baby massage. Running for 5 weeks, for babies from 12 weeks old until walking.

Each week you will learn practices to:

– strengthen awareness and bonding between parent and baby
– aid relaxation in both baby and parent
– stimulates baby’s development and promote tummy time
– support language and communication development
– strengthen muscles and joints and improve overall bodily functions and wellbeing
– provide a space for parents and new mums to connect and find support and friendship
