Half Term Film Camp – Richmond

Activity Description

This half term join us for 4 days creating an original film adaptation of one of your favourite scenes from your favourite books. It could be anything from The broom crash in Room on the Broom to Harry Potter and the sorting hat. Children aged between 8 and 11 will have the opportunity to create their own short film, from coming up with the story to filming and acting.

This four day Camp will run at two amazing venues, one in Richmond and one in Fulham. We have capacity for 20 filmmakers at each location with stages, outdoor space, music rooms, art rooms and more. Children will come up with. the idea for the film, develop the storyboard, plan and stage the production. They will be introduced to the complete filming process and learn about using the camera, setting up the lights, capturing the sound and making sound effects as well as the roles of cast and crew. Hands on filmmaking fun!

Please note that we have two locations running the same Camp, this one in Fulham and a second in Richmond. You can choose which you prefer on the booking form. Thank you.
