Come to Junction to take part in a day full of FREE fun, where you’ll dive into the world of music production and explore the art of mixing beats and creating melodies.
In the morning, we will have the decks ready for you to spin the platters, play songs and even try out scratching and turntable tricks. We will show you how DJ equipment is set up and what is needed to start your DJ journey.
In the afternoon you will move to make your beats (music production) and we will all work together to create electronic music, sounds and grooves using synthesisers, drum machines and lots of different gadgets. You’ll get to remix sounds and have a go at playing, jamming and recording your own choice of styles including House, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass and more.
At the end of your learning journey, you will then have a chance to come back and showcase the music you have made and the skills you have learned in front of friends and family for one ultimate party!
This event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, but we are offering a waiting list and you will be contacted if/when places become available.
