Activity Description

Children and teens will have fun, build their confidence and make friends in a safe, supportive environment- all while transforming their dance skills!

Whether your child wants to train to become a pro dancer, or just wants a cool hobby, the transferrable life skills they will develop will help them be able to go and achieve their unique goals and dreams.

At Elevate Arts we encourage our students to be the best version of themselves and celebrate individuality. We are like one big family which extends to our students and their families – everyone feels at home and we often hold fun social events outside of dance class too!

Our classes focus on Authentic Street Dance (Breaking, Hip Hop, House, Locking, Popping) We pride ourselves on creating versatile dance artists. Children and teens are introduced to the culture and history of each style, learn the key foundation steps/techniques, develop their individual freestyle skills through creative tasks and work on a choreographed piece in each class for our parents’ showcase and awards at the end of each term.

We use a layered teaching approach so all students can learn at a pace which is challenging but realistic for them, whether they are a complete beginner or an advanced dancer. Students gain ownership of their learning through this and gain an understanding of the necessary steps for progression, fostering self-discipline. This method yields guaranteed results and you as a parent/carer will be amazed by how fast they improve!

There are plenty of local performance opportunities outside of the studio too and a clear route of progression from our little ones right through to our dance crew who compete across the UK and beyond.
