Bushcraft & First Aid Workshop

Activity Description

Forest School Bushcraft & First Aid Workshop for children. All children must be accompanied by an adult and will need guidance and assistance from their adult. This is a session to make memories, develop skills and bond together in a natural environment.

Bushcraft activities will be dotted around the woodland and you can work your way around at your own pace, choose to do a couple or all of them, the choice is yours. The First Aid lesson will be a group lesson together working in small groups with a leader supporting and guiding.

What opportunities will you have:

BUSHCRAFT
🔥 Light a fire using flint and steel and toast marshmallows on your very own fairy fire.
🌳 Use a saw and drill to create a wooden medal.
🔪 Whittling Wood using knives
🌧 Build shelters to protect you from the elements

FIRST AID
🩹What to do if a grown up falls ill
🩹Recovery Position
🩹How to keep calm in an emergency
🩹How to deal with bumps, grazes and burns
