Our ballet classes for children aged 4 to 12 are designed to welcome dancers of all levels, from complete beginners to those with some previous experience. Whether your child is just starting their ballet journey or looking to enhance their skills, we provide a nurturing and structured environment to help them grow.
We follow the prestigious IDTA ballet education system, which offers a clear, progressive pathway from the Preparatory Grade through advanced levels. This system ensures that all students receive the highest standard of ballet training while encouraging enjoyment, discipline, and personal growth. Each class focuses on essential ballet technique, including posture development, flexibility, balance, coordination, and graceful movement.
For beginners, we introduce fundamental ballet steps, jumps, and positions, helping children build strength and confidence. More experienced dancers will refine their technique, increase their dance vocabulary, and improve their performance skills. Whether working individually, in pairs, or within groups, our classes encourage creativity, teamwork, and a passion for movement.
As students progress through the IDTA ballet syllabus, they will be prepared for annual ballet exams, with formal certificates awarded at each grade. These exams offer a tangible goal for dancers to strive toward and celebrate their growth. The IDTA system emphasizes fun and progressive learning, with each grade building on the last—starting with Preparatory Grade, which lays the foundation for future success.
Our ballet classes foster self-discipline, physical awareness, spatial awareness, and a strong, graceful posture. Through the IDTA system, your child will not only develop their ballet technique but also gain life skills that transfer to many other areas. For those who show talent and dedication, the IDTA program provides the potential to pursue a professional dance career.
