📣 Calling all educators!
The BFG has run out of dreams… can you help? 👀
Developed in partnership with the National Literacy Trust, Giant Dreams: The BFG’s Literacy Programme seeks to capture the hopes and dreams of young people across the four nations of the UK.
With the help of Bea the librarian, children will be guided through a series of creative and educational tasks exploring the world of the BFG and the different types of dreams we have. 💭💤
By the end of the programme, they will have written and illustrated several kinds of dream and their favourites will be included in a handmade Book of Dreams, ready for collection by the BFG’s Dream Team to help him rebuild his supply, as well as uploaded onto a dedicated website for all to explore. 📖✨
So… are you ready to become part of a unique national archive capturing the imaginations and unique voices of tens of thousands of children?
🎟️ FREE to take part
⭐️ Open to individual primary-aged students, as a class and entire school bodies.
🗓️ 22 February – 25 March 2027
