Club Hub Reintroduces Interactive Map Search

Published on 1st July 2026 by Tessa Robinson

Club Hub has announced the return of its interactive map search, making it easier than ever for parents to discover children’s activities, clubs, classes, holiday clubs and family events near them, while helping children’s activity providers receive even more enquiries and bookings.

When Club Hub first launched in 2016, one of its most popular features was an interactive map powered by Google Maps, allowing parents to search for children’s activities in their local area.

However, as the UK’s children’s activities directory grew to include thousands of listings and attracted millions of page views, the cost of using Google Maps increased significantly due to charges based on usage. Rather than passing those costs on to members, Club Hub made the difficult decision to remove the feature and continue investing in growing the platform and supporting children’s activity providers across the UK.

Fast forward to today, and thanks to years of continued growth and reinvestment, Club Hub is delighted to announce the return of its interactive map search.

Club Hub Reintroduces Interactive Map Search to Help More Families Find Local Children's Activities

Investing in Our Members

Helping Children's Activity Providers Reach More Families

The launch of the new map is more than just a website update. It represents Club Hub’s ongoing commitment to investing in new technology that helps children’s activity providers attract more local families and grow their businesses.

Every improvement made to the Club Hub website is carefully considered with one goal in mind: helping providers receive more visibility, more enquiries and more bookings.

From improving search functionality and user experience to investing in SEO, marketing and new website features, Club Hub continues to develop the platform to ensure members receive the best possible value from their membership.

Founder Tessa Day said:

“When we launched Club Hub in 2016, the interactive map was incredibly popular with parents. Unfortunately, as the website grew and welcomed more visitors, the ongoing costs became too expensive because Google Maps charged us every time it was used.

“Rather than increasing costs for our members, we chose to remove the feature and continue investing in growing the platform. We’re now in a position where we can bring the map back, and we’re incredibly excited because we know it will help even more parents discover local activities and, most importantly, generate more enquiries for our members.”

Designed for Busy Parents

The new interactive map has been designed to be simple, fast and easy to use on both desktop and mobile devices.

Parents can quickly search for children’s activities in their local area and instantly see nearby listings displayed on an interactive map.

At a glance, each listing displays:

  • Activity title
  • Price
  • Address

Parents can then click View Listing to see the provider’s full profile, including photographs, descriptions, contact details and booking information.

One of the biggest improvements is that each listing opens in a new browser tab, allowing parents to return straight back to the map without losing their search results. This makes it much easier to compare different children’s classes, clubs and activities nearby before deciding which is right for their family.

Helping Children’s Activity Providers Reach More Families

Investing in Our Members

Club Hub has always focused on connecting parents with trusted local children’s activity providers.

Whether families are looking for baby and toddler classes, after school clubs, gymnastics, sports coaching, indoor play, dance classes, martial arts, holiday clubs or SEND activities, the new map makes discovering local opportunities quicker and more convenient than ever.

For children’s activity providers, this means increased visibility to parents who are actively searching for activities in their local area.

The easier it is for parents to find and compare activities, the more opportunities providers have to receive enquiries, trial bookings and new long-term customers.

Continuing to Invest in Club Hub Members

Club Hub has grown significantly since launching in 2016 and now features more than 7,000 children’s activity listings across the UK, helping families discover thousands of clubs, classes, events and services every day.

Every investment made into the website is funded through the continued growth of the business and reinvested back into improving the experience for both parents and providers.

The return of the interactive map is just one example of Club Hub’s long-term commitment to supporting children’s activity providers by continually improving the tools available to help them promote their businesses.

“Our members place their trust in Club Hub to market their businesses and connect them with local families,” added Tessa.

“That’s a responsibility we take incredibly seriously. We will continue investing in new features, improving the user experience and developing the website so that every enhancement helps our members receive even more exposure, enquiries and bookings.”
