Activity Description

Theatretrain is a leading part-time performing arts school, offering excellent training in acting, singing and dancing for children and teenagers aged 4-18 years and we absolutely love what we do! Our classes are taught by industry professionals, creating a fun, supportive and inspiring environment for our students to thrive.

Our aim isn’t just to create better performers, but to help your children reach their full potential. Theatretrain is a safe space to create, to find your voice and to find others passionate about the performing arts.

When you join Theatretrain Reading, your child will build confidence, communication skills and self-belief whilst developing a strong performance technique. Your child will gain performance experience working on exceptional stages including local professional theatres, West End Theatres, The Royal Albert Hall and abroad.
Our students have represented GB in festivals in Japan and Italy, they have performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe receiving 4 star reviews (British Theatre Guide) and performed at Disneyland Paris and in New York.

Every child has the opportunity to perform, helping them grow in confidence both on and off the stage.
In May 2026, Advanced Acting students will perform a new adaptation of ALICE at Sapperlot Festival in Italy and in July, Theatretrain Main Company will perform the Disney hit musical, Newsies Jnr at Wilde Theatre, Bracknell.

We also offer classes for our youngest stars aged 4-6 years in our TT Minis Junior Company.

Advanced Acting (12-18 years) 8:45am-10:15am
TT Minis Junior Company 4-6 years 9am-10:30am
TT Main Company 6-18 years         10:15am-1:15pm
