Blackwater Gymnastic Club February Half Term 2024 Camp – Essex
Blackwater Gymnastics Club is offering a February camp consisting in gymnastics and other weekly gym activities. 20th and 21st February 2024.

Most of our children come to us with little or no experience, however a genuine interest in our activities is necessary.

How Does the Day Run?
We start the day with our welcome talk & ice breaker games – this is a great way for the children to ease into the day and get to know each other. Once we have made some new friends we move onto livening up our bodies with dance, after this energetic session we take a well deserved morning break. Singing is up next followed by lunch – a much needed chance to refuel after a very busy morning. The afternoon then consists of drama tasks, aarts & crafts and plenty of games.
Each session (dance, singing & drama) consist of a warm up, technique and working towards a final piece that we complete by the end of the day.
Our aim is for each child to leave daily with the biggest smile on their face and feeling proud of what they’ve achieved.

February Half Term 2024: Butler’s School & Castle Capers at Leeds Castle – Kent
Join us for an exciting February half term event at Leeds Castle! Mr Borrett, Leeds Castle’s Head Butler desperately needs new staff, as Lady Baillie is planning a grand house party and he’s not ready for all the guests who will be coming to stay.
Be part of the excitement and help Mr Borrett find mislaid items around the Castle and set up the dinner table for Lady Baillie’s banquet… the race is on to be ready in time.
Our visitors can anticipate a fun caper with a treasure hunt, ‘butler training’ games and a magic finale. What’s more, this is all included in your admission ticket price.
Activities include:
- Housekeeping Havoc: Watch the performers whip mischievous children into shape, ensuring they’re spick and span for Lady Baillie’s grand affair.

Lambs & Ewe – PLAY@ Lower Drayton Farm – Stafford
Visitors to Staffordshire’s multi award-winning PLAY@ Lower Drayton Farm from February half term through to 7th April will have chance to get up close to Spring’s cutest new arrivals, as the farm’s popular Lambs & Ewe event will be included in your entry ticket.
The experience will see you watch a film all about sheep before seeing inside the lambing barn, where you’ll learn all about lambs and their mums from the farm’s dedicated team. Kids can then pick up lots of sheep-y facts in a themed quiz trail before helping Farmer Ray and his sheepdog, Shep, find their lost ‘sheep’ around the farm.
When you’ve completed the Lambs & Ewe experience, you have the rest of the day to explore all that PLAY@ has to offer – exploring the huge indoor playbarns with four storeys of sliding, climbing, whizzing fun; dedicated under-5s playframe with role-play village, a sensory play space for under 1s and separate slide barn with the famous ‘Drayton Drop’ gravity drop slide. Outdoors, you’ll find racing zipwires, grass toboggans, bouncy pillows, farm-u-la 1 go-karts and more in the adventure play area while back undercover you can meet lots of friendly animals in the large and small animal zones.
