Activity Description

Our sensory cabin is an invaluable activity for both children and families, with state-of-the-art interactive play areas including wall mirrors, light tubes, soft play, and coloured fibre optics. The foam floors offer fun play mixed with educational puzzles, and they can enjoy the slime floor tiles to their heart’s content. In addition, you will gain access to our sensory garden, which includes decked and grass areas, with a mud kitchen and outdoor toys to allow them to explore imaginative play.

Your child will have the freedom to make music, press buttons, and build structures, using the areas as a calm and safe space to explore sensory feelings that they enjoy. As such, the sensory centre is appropriate for children of all ages, as they may use the space however they wish.

Sensory rooms are beneficial for children for a plethora of reasons; the stimulating environment aims to assist the development of your child’s hand-eye coordination, motor skills, colour recognition, communication and sensory skills, which is particularly poignant for children with sensory impairments.

Additionally, it is shown that regular access to a sensory room or sensory equipment can make significant improvements to a child’s emotional health and enhance their learning experience, helping your child to be happier and healthier.
