Activity Description

Jo Darby Theatre School has been running for 6 years in Ipswich under the direction of Jo Darby. Jo traveled the world as a professional dancer for 10 years and then wanted to pass that knowledge and experience onto the younger generation.

The main aim of the school is FUN and CONFIDENCE BUILDING whilst working towards an annual Summer and Christmas show!!

Classes start with “Tiny Ballerinas” from ages 18 months – 3 years on Monday mornings with a parent/carer and include ballet, singing, props and a little free play and a biscuit!

Older ballet classes run from ages 3-6 years and then onto MUSICAL THEATRE classes for ages 6-18 years!!! Covering a wide variety of styles in dance as well as confidence building through singing and acting too.
