The three core elements of our classes are: Story, Drama and Play
Story builds the foundations for literacy and promotes skillful communication. In class, children speak, listen, imagine, observe and do.
Drama techniques foster cognitive development. By children jumping into a fictional world where they recall a story and discover and speak for themselves, their thinking, reasoning and memory skills blossom and grow.
Play grows a child’s positive sense of themselves and of others. In our safe, imaginary world, children build an understanding of themselves and a sense of community as a group.
Baby Story Play (6 to 23 months). Dipping tiny toes in the world of stories, words and sounds, our unique sessions for under 2’s are a multisensory blend of storytelling, puppets, bubbles and movement to music.
Early Years Drama (2 to 5 years). After each week’s story is told, the children’s creative responses are facilitated by a skilled practitioner into an imaginative group retelling. They have the freedom to take the story where their creativity urges. The more confident they become, the more we’ll challenge their thinking skills through techniques such as improvisation and tableaux.

Little Dippers
Ask any new parent in Brighton what activities they will be doing with their new baby you will find swimming comes high up their list. Living by the sea is amazing but teaching water safety for your children is also essential and we believe it can never start too soon, even the youngest of babies can learn key water safety techniques.
As one of the first baby swim schools in the UK we have been teaching our little dippers’ programme for almost 30 years. Our aim is to teach babies key water safety techniques in a way that is both fun and nurturing. As well as teaching skills that could one day save their life, swimming is also great exercise for your baby helping to build stronger heart and lungs and has been shown to aid in their cognitive development and improved eating and sleeping patterns.
Classes are kept small to maintain a calm and relaxed environment for both parent and baby and provide the perfect opportunity to spend some special one on one time with you and your baby. Plus it’s a great way to meet other new parents.
Our classes in Brighton take place in our flagship purpose built warm water baby swim centre in the heart of the city and also in a beautiful private spa pool on the outskirts of the city for those coming from further afield.

How does it work?
Simply send a message via Facebook, email or text to order your box with your chosen ceramics. The box has everything you need to get painting. Free delivery for orders over £40 or £5 for any orders under £40 which covers the 3 trips to and from your home.
You keep the box for one whole week before we collect, glaze and fire your ceramics professionally, ready to return to you.
Is it safe?
Yes! For everybody’s safety all items will be completely sanitised and pick up and collection will be a non-contact doorstep pick-up.
