Dance Explosion – Aberdeen Kids Clubs

Dance Explosion is a freestyle dance school based in Aberdeen offering freestyle disco and slow dance classes for children aged 3 up to 16.

My classes offer a fun and friendly environment for the children with an energetic dance style that will increase fitness levels and flexibility, build confidence, along with making new friends.

I offer a wide range of classes from beginners and just for fun classes through to competitive classes and 1-to-1 private lessons for competition team members.

Footstars – Aberdeen Kids Clubs

Footstars is a unique set of classes for budding 2-7 years old  boys and girls in the world of football and sport in general (we cover Aberdeen and shire). We have been operating for over 10 years in the local area.

Our coaching methods include using creative,imaginary play to develop children the early stages of football in a fun fitness and educational environment.

Our sessions aim to provide a more well-rounded sporting experience.

Specialised Equipment:

Mini Gym … footstars mini gym develops good fitness habits- from the treadmill to the foam weights – children have fun developing healthy future outcomes with these colourful pieces of equipment.

Blazepods… fantastic reaction lights for children of all ages used for not only general fitness but football awareness, first touch, flexibility, and speed control.

Children just love putting the lights out!!

Sessions:

At footstars we create developmental pathways… so 2/3 years and 3/5 year classes, each class is parent participation and themed and different each week. The classes develop each childs basic football skills, memory recall, numeracy, Literacy and motor skills, this along with scoring lots of goals… so one week you could be helping Winnie the Pooh with some honey, the next it’s helping Paw Patrol save the day… all the while learning techniques for sport in general.

For our older children 4 years 6 months until 7 years.. they start to learn the game … we focus on Kinesthetics( motion of the body) by way of balance and coordination activities and drills, this helps develop self confidence of their own ability and intergrating both sides of the body while playing.

We implement small sided games so children get lots of touches and as they get more developed tactical awareness become the focus while playing in a non- competitive environment.

Footstars is about being well-rounded in relation to sport and football, it’s about creating a family atmosphere that engages not only the child but parent as well.

This is not just football it’s coaches engaging and entertaining everyone while learning.

All staff are Qualified in the field of Footstars are fully PVG checked and first aid certified.

We work 6 days a week in Aberdeen and shire and even offer first class for Free!!!

Kippie Lodge is Aberdeen’s leading sports & country club offering the widest range of facilities and activities to its members. Scamps Out of School Care and Holiday Club in Aberdeen

Scamps was established in 1988 and is based in the Beechgrove Scout Hut in the West End of Aberdeen; Scamps is a privately run Out of School Care and Holiday Club for primary school aged children; providing much needed care and support for working parents.  We provide a warm, friendly, professional, home-from-home environment as well as an active range of engaging activities with our team of fully trained & qualified staff.

Open from 8am – 6pm during all school In-Service days and most holidays except 2 weeks at Christmas & New Year and the last 2 weeks of the summer.

During Holiday Clubs we offer a hugely varied range of activities and trips such as Kitchen Science & STEM, Arts & Crafts, Water Colour painting, Board games, Reading, Football, Dance, Movies, Loose Parts Play, Den building, Dressing up, Imaginative Play, Outdoor Play, Campfires, Gardening & Conservation and Bio Diversity Projects.

Storyland Express – Aberdeen Kids Clubs

Come to our award winning, amazing classes for 0 to 5 year olds.  We run 45 minute, interactive musical, storytelling adventures.  Where will we go?  Who will we be?  What will we see?

We have live puppet shows each week that you join in with as we role play, dance, sing, play instruments and have wonderful sensory experiences.  There are light shows, bubbles, parachute, fabulous props and puppets for everyone to join in the fun with.   We have a different story each week.  There are classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

Run and developed by a Primary Teacher and Early Years Educators.  All our sessions are planned carefully to include the best developmental resources, play activities and early language experiences.
