✨ Magical, Creative Performing Arts classes and events for little people across Yorkshire!
The Little Yorkshire Dance Academy was born in 2019, created by ISTD dance teacher Joanna Harker and has been delivering magical, creative dance classes across Yorkshire to hundreds of children both in our wonderful venues and pre schools.
The Little Yorkshire Dance Academy prides itself on being a community as well as a dance class and hosts many themed pre school events, collaborating with other pre school specific companies and works with local charities to make sure all children have a chance to dance.

🌈 Mini Movers
09:30 – 10:10
A child’s first introduction to dance – a forty minute magical class for both parent/carer and toddler
Focusing on fun, gaining confidence and developing strength through balance and coordination. Encouraging imagination and a love for dance using a variety of music and props based around our changing class themes.
This class is for children who are moving around up to 2 and a half/3 years, however we do have children come along who aren’t yet stable on their feet but can very much still join in with their parent/carer!
Each pupil will receive a delicious snack after their class to regain energy after all that dancing!

🌈 Pre School Performers
10:30 – 11:10
This is our next class up for your little people. A 40 minute class enhancing imagination and physical development through dance.
Children explore a variety of movement, rhythm and basic ballet steps. Your child will gain confidence whist making new friends in a fun filled environment.
We absolutely love seeing the friendships our little people make in this class and how their imaginations are ignited through dance.
Age: From 2 1/2 – Pre School age
Each pupil will receive a delicious snack after their class to regain energy after all that dancing!

10:30 – 11:10 Pre School Performers from 2.5/3 years – pre school age
