Activity Description

Hi I’m Goksu and I am a dance teacher  . Since 2022 I am happy and proud to be teaching Tappy Toes dance classes in Greenwich, Blackheath, Kidbrooke, Lewisham and Hither Green.

Ever since I can remember I have been very passionate about physical activity whether that be dance or sports! I even became a professional volleyball player in my younger years! Alongside my passion for dance I am a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer which gives me a fantastic understanding of the health and well-being aspects of dance.

I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, which helped me run my own fitness business however I always wanted to get back to my passion for dance and working with children. Becoming part of the Tappy Toes family has allowed me to do this.

Working with children has been a true gift to me and has always been my vocation. Then in 2019 I became a mother to a wonderful, happy and confident little girl called Elsa who, like her mum, always loved to dance and move to music even before she could walk!

Tappy Toes classes teach children an appreciation of music and rhythm but much more than that they help to build confidence allowing them to express themselves in a safe, stimulating, fun and engaging group environment. I would say that my biggest reward and joy is to see a quiet, shy child grow in confidence and progress through the weeks as the curriculum develops.

At the time we really struggled to find a suitable class for Elsa in our area so we looked further afield eventually leading us to Alex’s Tappy Toes class in Forest Hill.

Elsa loved it so much it inspired me to bring the same classes closer to home in Greenwich, Blackheath and the surrounding areas.

I look forward to welcoming you to a Tappy Toes class soon. If you have any questions or would like to find out more please call me on: 07???
