Spectrum Socials runs therapist-led social events for autistic children and teens across London. We focus on fun, sensory-friendly days out, designed to help kids make new friends and enjoy positive interactions with peers who get them. Every event is led by an experienced behaviour therapist with an event helper alongside, and parents stay throughout.
This May half term, on Tuesday 26th, we’re heading to Battersea Park Children’s Zoo for a lovely day meeting the animals, playing and having a picnic together. Experienced therapists ensure that the kids have a brilliant time, gently prompting positive interactions and social communication.
We group kids by age and communication level for social compatibility. For this trip the two groups will be:
11am to 1pm: For autistic kids aged 8 to 11 year olds with conversational communication
1.30 to 3.30pm: For autistic kids aged 4 to 8 years old
