The Sensory Cabin to hire at The Maypole Project!

The Maypole Project is We are a children’s charity that has been supporting and enriching the lives of children with complex medical needs and their families for over 20 years in South East London and nationally. We aim to help preserve the mental and physical well-being of children and young people diagnosed and living with complex medical needs and disabilities, while also supporting the welfare of carers and family members affected by their condition. We provide emotional well-being to the whole family, from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond

Children and families can now benefit from using our state-of-the-art equipment, including interactive play areas, wall mirrors, light tubes, flexible, soft play and coloured fibre optics. Our sensory cabin is a stimulating environment aimed at developing hand-eye coordination, motor skills, colour recognition, communication and sensory skills for children with sensory impairments. We find that regular access to a sensory room or sensory equipment can make significant improvements on a child’s emotional health and enhance their learning experience. Our sensory room can also be used as a calm space.
