Class Description:
SEND Dance and Movement classes are specifically designed to support young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. Our inspiring teachers will help students stay fit and learn at their own pace. Instructors use Makaton symbols and PECS cards to aid communication, ensuring that every student can fully participate and enjoy the class. Differentiated movement options are provided throughout.
Along with developing dance skills, these classes foster the learning of other essential skills such as teamwork, creative thinking, expression, choreography, and empathy for others. Our instructors also incorporate props such as scarves, ribbons, and parachutes, exploring fun and unique ways of moving.
