Activity Description

PSP Youth Theatre – Ages 11+

Our Youth Theatre is for older children and teens who love performing and want to take part in more ambitious theatre projects in a friendly, supportive environment.

Sessions focus on acting, character development, vocal work, movement and rehearsing towards full-scale productions. Performers work as part of a committed cast, learning how to develop a role, work with scripts, take direction and build confidence on stage.

The group is ideal for young people who already enjoy performing, as well as those who want to become more confident, expressive and comfortable speaking or acting in front of others.

Because this is a production-based group, there is a strong emphasis on teamwork, commitment and creating something the cast can be genuinely proud of together. Everyone is given meaningful involvement, with opportunities to develop their individual strengths while learning how to work as part of an ensemble.

Our Youth Theatre performs in a real theatre environment, giving young performers the experience of rehearsals, costumes, lighting, staging and live performance.
