Ponteland Repertory Society – Amateur community musical theatre

Activity Description

We perform an annual musical (which is sometimes also a pantomime) with a cast of both adults and children, normally in November. Children can have full speaking/singing parts or can be part of the chorus providing background to scenes. Either way they get to have a fun experience involving acting, singing and dancing. We rehearse for the 6 months prior to each production on Thursday and Friday evenings (with younger children mainly attending Friday evenings only during school terms). New children are always welcome and we can always find good roles for them in the chorus even if they join close to the production date.
