Activity Description

Phonics Stars is a happy and fun activity class where preschoolers learn through play. While playing with a different letter sound each week, we support children’s physical and emotional health through, games, craft, exercises and dance.

Sessions are based on Phase 1 Phonics for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Developed alongside Occupational Therapists in order to encourage children’s gross and fine motor skills using a wide variety of mark making and sensory equipment. Furthermore, our Play Sessions heavily focus on children’s Speaking, Listening and Communication skills. Laying a valuable foundation from which children can then go onto school feeling confident and ready to start their new learning adventures.
