Students will also have the opportunity to take Aerial Arts Exams coming soon. We thrive as one big team to help & support each other which will make students feel a place of belonging and teaches them valuable life skills as well as acrobatics.
PADA has performed at professional venues such as; Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), Birmingham Hippodrome, Indigo at The O2 London, Artrix Bromsgrove, Alton Towers Scarefest & Blackpool Winter Gardens Opera House. PADA has competed in local dance competition with multiple gold, silver & bronze medals and also won Highest Score Inter Acro Groups in 2021 & 2023. PADA is a non-competitive academy but on occasions PADA will attend a competition to give students the experience to compete. Most performances PADA does is showcase performances which are not competitions but are great performing experiences which can be shared with fellow dance schools and our students enjoy these performances and the event as a whole. We have performed at Chance2Dance Events 4 times in the last 2 years around the UK. PADA has an annual showcase hosted by the academy in a professional theatre every year for students to have a chance to show their skills and work as part of a team to create the show.
PADA is proud to have multi-national students that attend PADA who all work with each other to make a team that we are proud to have, this makes us a diverse team. PADA has also supported students on the Ukrainian Sponsorship Scheme in the UK since it started for those who had to leave their home in Ukraine due to an on-going war and we gave them the opportunity to continue their acrobatics, dance & aerial arts training here with us and became part of PADA.
Acrobatic Arts Syllabus is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. The benefits of being part of Acrobatic Arts that dancers who train through Acrobatic Arts have balanced development, are stronger, more flexible and fearless. Students are trained on mats first before transitioning to hard floor in preparation for performances, Acrobatic Arts techniques helps students to perform acrobatic skills on hard floor (e.g. Stages) safely which minimises the risk of injuries. Partnering skills is always fun for the students which is a great for team bonding. We consider gymnastics as a sport which is not what we do but we consider acrobatics/acrodance as a performing art which is what we do.
We Train The Next Generation Of Acrobatic Dancers.
