Create magic in a day with Mozart!
Calling all princes, queens, wizards, and bird-catchers! In this one-day session Oxford Opera will introduce our class of intrepid adventurers to the world of Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’. We will explore and act out the story of this world-famous opera, learn some of the music, and put together a short showcase to perform to parents and friends at the end of the day. Warning: this day may include battling monsters, casting magical spells, and even outsmarting a wicked witch – so this adventure is not for the faint of heart…
This workshop will run from 10.00 – 16.30 [with our performance at 16.15], and we offer flexible drop off / pick up from 9.00 – 10.00, and 16.30 – 17.00. The workshop will take place at North Oxford Association Community Centre, and will be led by opera industry professionals. This workshop is suitable for 8 – 10s.
