Our Performing Arts classes offer a fun and inspiring space to explore singing, acting, and dance all in one session. Designed to nurture creativity and confidence, these classes encourage young performers to express themselves fully while developing essential skills across multiple disciplines.
Acting
Each week, students explore a wide range of performance mediums including storytelling, role-play, script work, improvisation, devising, and acting for camera. Children will also have the opportunity to experiment with different styles such as mime, physical theatre, and even Shakespeare!
Students have the option to take graded ‘Trinity Acting Exams’ accredited by Trinity College London.
Singing
In our singing classes, children learn key techniques such as breath control, vocal projection, and acting through song – all designed to strengthen both their vocal ability and stage presence. Each class begins with a thorough vocal warm-up, followed by learning a song together as an ensemble.
Students explore a mix of pop and musical theatre pieces, helping them expand their vocal repertoire and develop versatility. For those who are interested, there are also opportunities to perform solos or sing in small groups, encouraging confidence and celebrating every child’s unique voice in a positive, supportive environment.
Street Jazz
Our Street Jazz class blends the style and energy of hip hop and street dance with the technique of jazz. Each session begins with a fun full body warm up and stretch, followed by jazz technique exercises across the floor. Dancers then bring it all together by learning an upbeat street-style routine that showcases the skills and techniques practiced earlier in class.
It is completely optional to take all three disciplines. Some children may wish to study just singing, just dance, or perhaps a combination of two. Whatever works best for your child, we are happy to support. If this is the case, please do get in touch to discuss.
